First year teacher/musician Samson Trinh has got the kids at Glen Allen and Crestview jamming. The 4th graders at Glen Allen (and myself) learned how to compose music using Garageband. I assisted[1. I can only help with the troubleshooting, because I can’t hold a beat to save my life.] Samson with the introduction lesson to Garageband, but ended up participating with the students because I have zero musical ability and his lesson made sense to me. The students used the instrumental loops to create their musical tracks. The students also wrote original lyrics that were recorded into their Garageband projects.
